Hi folks,
I'm organising a LGBT Scuba trip to the Philippines for Feb/Mar 2015. I actually organised a very similar (and successful) trip for GLUG about 4 years ago, but I'm organising this as an individual. The trip is 11 or 16 nights (you can choose) . The first 11 nights are split between 2 different locations (with transfer by Dive boat, so we can still get 2 or 3 dives on the transfer day). The last 5 nights are at a third location, Malapascua, renowned for Thresher Sharks, but also with beautiful reefs too. Price excluding flights is US$1691 (around £1020) for the 11-day trip, or US$2566 (£1538) for the 16-night one, including Accommodation, Breakfast, Unlimited Diving, and Nitrox for those who want it. Payment is 10% deposit, and then three instalments of 30%. Although the diving is not particularly challenging, we will be up to 10 hours travel from the nearest recompression chamber in Cebu, so I'm looking for divers who are both confident and competent in the water. I already have one UK guy, and a couple of ladies from Northern California Rainbow Divers signed up - I need at least 4 more within the next month, to get the trip off the ground. The Philippines is some of the best warm water diving around - come and experience it for yourselves! For more information, please email me: neil@steadfamily.com (or ask a question below) Cheers, Neil Hello all GLUG members, Are there any other members living in the north of the country who would like to meet up for dives? I'm in South Cumbria not far from Capernwray Dive Centre. I am interested in perhaps organising some diving in North Wales, North East England or Western Scotland depending on whether there are enough takers. Let me know what you think. Thanks Mandy Started by Mandy Knott
