Hi everyone,

It’s quite some time since we last ordered T-shirts for the club (4 years!), and since we’ve had rather a lot of new Members since then, we’ve decided it’s time to order some more!

We use a company called Logoso to produce shirts with our logo (see right) embroidered on the breast (on dark colours, the wording and outline will be embroidered in White).

Logoso will embroider onto a huge range of clothing, so to avoid having an order for 50 different items, I’ve narrowed their range down to the choices below. Please note that sizes are for guidance only.

Shark Savers is working with Misool Eco Resort, WildAid and other NGOs and Eco-tourism companies to convince Raja Ampat officials that it’s financially more beneficial to keep Sharks, Mantas, and Mobula Rays alive, rather than killing them.

I would like to encourage all GLUG divers to sign the online petition, asking the Raja Ampat government to prohibit all shark, manta, and mobula fishing.

Due to late cancellations, my Bsac diving club is looking for up to 4 divers to join their trip to Scapa this September. They are using teh same boat/cottages as Glug normally does.

if i where to buy a secondhand nearly new dry suit, would i be able to have the boot size changed.

I’ve uploaded a new gallery of images from a trip I made to the Komodo National Park a few weeks ago. You can see it on my website at www.alanlarsen.co.uk. The Komodo National Park is a World Heritage Site and in the ‘Coral Triangle’, the most biodiverse area of the oceans. The park and the area around it boast some exhilarating diving: from gentle ‘muck diving’ with strange critters on black sands – to manta rays and sharks in ripping currents!

I’ve also added more images to the previous gallery from the Philippines – a trip I did over Xmas/New Year. Still in the ‘Coral Triangle’  but further north, the diving is equally impressive (and is the same area that Neil led a GLUG trip to in March).
