2009 Charitable Donation

As those who attended the AGM last week will already know, it was decided that GLUG would make a £250 charitable donation this year.
I should point out (this was raised at the AGM) that this is entirely separate from DFL (Diving for Life), this is GLUG giving away surplus cash from 2009 to a charity.
What we need now is a charity, and that’s where you come in. Firstly we need nominations for charities, then we’ll need votes. It was decided at the AGM that all nominations must be linked to diving and/or homosexuality though unlike DFL the gay bit isn’t limited to gay health.
The nominations are needed ASAP so there can be a poll on the site in time for the result to be announced at the January meeting. This means people kind of need to act NOW and not leave it until tomorrow!
