Xmas Meal

Hi GLUGgers,

The venue I have been able to book us into, if we want it is Carluccio’s in Covent Garden – very convenient considering the location of the AGM.

Depending on the number of GLUGgers going we may have a private room!  The room, however, requires a mimimum spend of, glup £1000!  Mind you – if 30 of us attend, as in previous years, that would only mean sheeling out about £35 each including drink!  Anyway, please find below the list of people that have already said they would like to come – if you would like to attend and have not yet let me know, or if your name does not appear – please do let me know asap!

AGM and Christmas Meal

Hi Fellow GLUGgers,

The AGM this year will be at 3.00pm at the Phoenix Artists Bar (where we hold our monthly meetings) on Saturday December 12th.  This will be followed by our Christmas Dinner.  Can you please respond to this post letting us know whether you will be attending the AGM, the AGM and Dinner, or purely the dinner.

The venue for the Christmas Dinner has yet to be decided – which is where you come in!   In order for us to secure a reasonable menu and price, we need to know how many GLUGgers are intending to come along – could you please let us know if you would like to come to the dinner, and also let us know what type of food would suit you – Italian, Steak, Traditional Christmas, Thai, etc, so that we can find somewhere able to take us!

As time is running out – could you please respond by the evening of Friday 6th November.

As an aside, due to the fact that we are having the AGM, there will be NO Monthly GLUG Meeting in December, and also the January Meeting will be the second Tuesday of January (Tuesday 12th).
