Labyrinthitis
Posted by webmaster on 27th December 2006
In Novermber I suddenly encountered great pain, like the back of my head was being held on a hot skewer, following by about 3 days of agony, and a couple of trips to the doctors they told me I had a virus in the spine.
As this cleared the nausia, dizzyness, tinitus and vertigo kicked in and I was told I had Labyrithitis. Obviously my diving had come to an abrupt hault, but does anyone have any information or could point me to any sites for information with regard to diving in the future?
I have been told by my doctor that it could clear up in a few months, or worst case lead to perminant tinitus and profound deafness.
Has any one else been through this, and advise?
