Dive Insurance Below 30 Metres

Do you regularly dive below 30m? If so, you might be interested in the Travel Insurance offered by HB Insurance. For a (fairly hefty!) additional premium, they will cover “suitably-qualified” divers beyond 30m, unlike many other Travel Insurance firms.
I asked what “suitably qualified” means, and was told that when you apply for the insurance they will ask for details of your qualification, and will reject the application if the qualification is not suitable. They were unable to tell me which qualifications are suitable, however!
You should also be aware that they do not cover HIV+ divers, although I’m not aware of any Travel Insurance that will cover HIV+ divers beyond 30m - even DAN Europe.
