Questionnaire – Technical Issues!

As with all things which should be simple…
The questionnaire file, if viewed with Adobe Reader (as I’m guessing most people will) cannot be saved once edited – it’s a limitation purposely put there by Adobe to encourage you to purchase a full Acrobat licence! Relax, you don’t need to do that…
The workarounds are:
For the lazy (or those who can’t install programs but do have a printer installed):
Open the file in Adobe Reader, ignore the warnings, edit the file and then go to print it (use File -> Print to get the print menu) and select the ‘Save to file’ check box. This will redirect the print data to a file, instead of your printer. Click print, choose a file name and save location and then email me that file.
For the not so lazy (or those who don’t mind installing programs):
Download and install Nitro PDF from this link, save the questionnaire pdf file to your computer and open it with NitroPDF instead of Adobe. If you let the Nitro installer change your default pdf reader Nitro will automatically open the file. You can then fill in the questionnaire and save the file with the changes. Then email the modified PDF file to myself.
I’ll keep what I’d like to do to Adobe right now to myself!!! I’m sorry its this complicated but as they say, that’s life!
If anyone has any difficulties please do ask for help. If you aren’t certain about the above, do a dummy run after you answer the first 1 or 2 questions… you don’t want to fill the whole thing in only to loose the lot! Worst case, print it out and we’ll handle it that way.
