RED SEA IMPROVER WEEK 1/8 NOVEMBER

Posted by in2theblue on May 28th, 2009

Hi ALL

I have 3 friends who have just learnt to dive. As you can imagine, they are completely smitten and want to advance their skills. With this in mind I am running a trip to Sharm el Sheikh on 1st November. Although Sharm may be busy, it would be an ideal place for them, and others, to advance their skills.

This trip, may be of interest to divers who want to join us and learn more, as well as being able to bring a long suffering, non diving partner. Perhaps some of the guys and girls who have done the recent try dives with GLUG might find this trip helpful. And, off course, any other divers who may want to dive the amazing Thomas, Jackson and Jackfish Alley reefs,  amongst others, in 28 degrees of water, are more than welcome to join us. This is a good opportunity for you to achieve more than 50 dives after which,  you will be able to dive the amazing outer reefs in The Southern Red Sea, with us next July.

If you find the trip too expensive, you can always choose another cheaper hotel and meet up with us for the training and social aspect of the trip.

Below are the costings for this trip:

      Hi Tim

Great to hear from you and pleased that you are a new scuba diver. So far we have 3 open water divers who want to advance and me doing a Rescue Refresher with one non diver coming. WE have now firmed up the date for Sunday 1s Nov. I will get back to you once I have resort info and prices.

Please email me your email adress by clicking my envelope above, so as I can add you to the round and keep you updated.

Thanks Tim and welcome to the wonderful world of scubadiving.

i might be interested – suggest hilton waterfalls, hyatt regency, or grand rotana which has camel divers on site. hotels in sharm are great but my suggestion is stay away from Naama Bay! unless you like that sort of thing of course!

Thanks Sally. Any advice is always welcome as I have never done the hotel thing in Sharm before-I tend to do live aboards! You are the 2nd person to recommend The Hilton Waterfalls. I will get unto it and get some figures together. As with Tim above, if you wanted to be added to the email round with no obligation to do the trip, reply to my envelope above. It would be great if we could get another girl to share with you. By the way, are you thinking of doing any courses?

      Cheers

I paid last year to complete my Advanced (last May) and only managed to complete half of it due to the supplier timetables etc not coz I failed!!!!

So a trip to help me complete my advanced would be perfect!

Let me know about dates and deposits etc…
