RESCUE DIVER REFRESHER

Posted by in2theblue on January 22nd, 2009

Hi All

Does anyone else need to do a Rescue Diver refresher course? I certainly need to and wonder if we could organise something for a group? I would also be keen to hear from any dive instructors who might be able to help with this.

Many thanks in anticipation.

    Hi All,

The rescue diver refresher course is an excellent idea!!

I am in the process of setting up a training schedule at the moment, I would like to run a monthly training weekend for all levels of diver. Whether you want to learn something new or just go diving somewhere safe! I hope to be able to run a few evenings classes for theory ie Nitrox.

Also, I’m hoping to arrange a training trip later in the year for anyone wanting to do some training somewhere warm!

Are there any Instructors, or budding Instructors/Divemasters who would like to help out?

Are there any other training requests? Anything from a scuba review to Instructor!

More details will follow, please let me know what you want to do!!!

Hi Ian and thanks for your reply and helpful information. I am particularly pleased that you suggested that we do this somewhere warm.
This may help generate more interest. If I could recommend the Red Sea Diving Safari land based sites near Marsa Alarm.

I would be happy to organise the trip aspect, of this idea, with your self organising the training, if that is of any help. If we plan it for late summer, then this idea could be promoted at the various prides around the country. One of the main questions asked, at our stall on, Pride days, is, where can I learn or do more training?

I hope this is of some help and look forward to this idea gaining momentum.

      Cheers

Ive stayed at the Red Sea Diving Safari Marsa Shagra and can highly recommend! Great set-up, brilliant food, lovely house reef with unlimited dives…

Hello everyone, I am new to this site, just joined today. I am really pleased to read good comments about Red Sea Diving Safari Marsa Shagra as I am thinking of booking a trip here 22-29 April 2009. I will be traveling alone and if anyone else will be there at the same time would be good to buddy with.

      Cheers

Hi Karl and welcome to GLUG. I’m sure you will have a good time at Red Sea Safari. Unfortunately I will not be able to join you as I am going on the 1st week in June. I’m sure you will be meeting up with us at Brighton Pride in August. For now, safe and exciting diving.
